Android Ice Cream Sandwich turns phones into game console

As reported in detail by Brad Molen of Engadget, Ice Cream Sandwich, Google’s new iteration of its venerable Android operating system, supports USB game controllers and HDMI out. These two features combined with the increasing power of mobile processors and GPUs and the push by developers to make more feature rich mobile games allows for ICS phones to become full fledged gaming consoles.
